More about the Chronicles of St. Mary’s series

The Story of the Chronicles of St. Mary’s

The Chronicles of St Mary’s series is presented as being about a group of tea-soaked disaster magnets as they hurtle their way around history.

The story begins with the young historian Madeleine “Max” Maxwell. She has just finished her studies and is about to go for an interview at St Mary’s Institute. But as she enters the grounds of this historical research center, Max quickly realizes that it is unlike any other.

Behind the very academic facade of St Mary’s Institute, the teams of historians, technicians and researchers have discovered the secret of time travel. Here, historians don’t just study the past, they visit it…

Max quickly understands the possibilities that are open to her. From the disappearance of Pompeii to the trenches of the First World War, from the Great Fire of London to the destruction of the Library of Alexandria, the young historian will relive extraordinary events. While within the institute, power issues arise…

And what about the Time Police spin-off series?

The story takes place sometime in the future. The secret of time travel became available to all. Chaos ensued as people sought to take advantage.
