More about Wings of Fire (novel series)

Does the Wings of Fire series need to be read in order?

For first time reader, we do not advise to read the Wings of Fire in chronological order, but to stick more closely to the publication order.

For this reason, we recommend reading Darkstalker after Escaping Peril. It also helps to have a better understanding of the events in Talons of Power and Darkness of Dragon. Also, Dragonslayer must be read before The Dangerous Spirit.

Finally, the first three Winglets can be read at any time after the first arc. Runaway should come after Darkstalker. You can also choose to read them after everything else, as those stories are companion pieces filling small details and are considered optional.

How many books are there in the Wings of Fire series?
